Cortex XDR and Cortex Xpanse
Thursday, 25 January 2024, 12:00 PM-4:30 PM
You’ll get hands-on experience using Cortex XDR and Cortex Xpanse.
With Cortex XDR we’ll be performing scoping, triage and root cause analysis of a sophisticated attack.
Subsequently, we’ll be using Cortex Xpanse to get the same outside-in perspective as the attackers, using Xpanse to find (0day) vulnerability exposures and find unmanaged resources.
- Navigate the incident overview and perform an incident investigation including Scoping, Triage, Root Cause Analysis and Exfil Analysis.
- Use the Cortex Query Language (XQL) to analyse process, file and network activity to perform Threat Hunting and custom reporting.
- A new zero-day vulnerability for Insecure OpenSSH was just announced. Find all exposures on your network.
- Investigate the security of websites on your network using Xpanse Web ASM.
- Manage and create Policy Rules, Tenant Settings and Dashboards to empower you to administer a Cortex XDR tenant
- Generate and export a report on your attack surface exposure.
Cloud-Delivered Security Services
Thursday, 22 February 2024, 12:00 PM- 4:30 PM
You’ll get hands-on experience with a platform that defends your network from commodity threats and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
In this no-cost, hands-on workshop you will:
● Go beyond traditional IPS to prevent all known threats across all traffic in a single pass
● See how to get modern malware protection with ML-powered analysis
● Use predictive analytics to disrupt attacks that use DNS
● Learn how to enable safe access to the internet for users in any location by preventing known and new malicious websites
● Rapidly identify and protect all unmanaged IoT and OT devices with a machine-learning based, signature-less approach
Cloud Native Security Platform
Thursday, 21 March 2024, 12:00 PM- 4:30 PM
See first-hand how you can get the industry’s broadest security compliance and coverage throughout the development lifecycle and across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
In this no-cost, hands-on workshop you will learn how to:
● Monitor and manage security postures for public cloud services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
● Gain deep visibility and detect and respond to threats across multiple cloud service providers
● Secure workloads, including hosts, containers, and serverless across the application lifecycle
● Integrate vulnerability scanning and compliance checks into the CI/CD workflow
● Analyze containerized applications at runtime, with visibility into vulnerabilities and compliance status
Industrial Control Services
Thursday, 25 April 2024, 12:00 PM- 4:30 PM
You’ll get hands-on experience using the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) to segment and gain better visibility in operational technology (OT), as well as to protect industrial control systems (ICS) from ransomware and other advanced threats.
In this no-cost, hands-on workshop you will learn how to:
● The basic components of an ICS/OT environment and converged IT-OT networks
● How to use a NGFW for segmentation and ICS protocol visibility/control
● How ransomware attacks breach OT using multiple attack methods, including encryption
● How to prevent successful pivoted (IT -> OT) ransomware attacks using the NGFW
What to expect?
● 4 hour technical workshop
● No-cost, hands on workshop
● Lunch included
